Gaius didn't answer if the question was even meant for him. With most of the pain eased, he'd drifted off almost immediately. Mireya tucked him in since she was there and just went into the other room to take care of the wounded dragon.

Lucian shook his head. "I can think of nothing more that he needs. Thank you." He was sure that he was going to hear about the incident later through his contacts. He looked forward to the report, actually.

"If you're sure then." Jiyong said because he knew that Taeyang would have done the same. He didn't go half way with favours at all.

"Hey girl." Taeyang said, he smiled to see Mireya. He knew she couldn't heal him, not of his life being drained. But she could heal the wounds from the fight. "how's the kid?"

"I am for now. Should you need anything of me to make his or your life with him easier, please let me know," Lucian said. But that would do for now. Yveltal had been warned off and Gaius was being taken care of. He would update Nox soon as he had promised.

"He's sleeping," Mireya answered and sat down next to Taeyang. "Was not able to heal of his wounds fully but they're mostly healed. He shouldn't feel more than mild discomfort now. All of them but one are consistent with physical abuse but I guess we already knew that."

"Of course, but unless he asks specifically you, I am sure we can handle anything he needs." Jiyong said, he wouldn't ask Lucian for help unless it was something they couldn't do themselves. Or Gaius required something from Lucian rather than them. This was part of the favour that Taeyang had agreed too and so they would hold it up.

"Yes." Taeyang said, because it was obvious. Unfortunately. "Yveltal, the man who did it, was near death before he did this. I still won," he said, because like all guys he didn't want to be seen as weak. It was his version of 'you should see the other guy' when someone caught you being wounded.

Lucian nodded. "Thank you again for this. I will be in touch." He had to return to handle other things. He couldn't stay as much as he might have liked to. Besides, Gaius was sleeping. He didn't need him there currently.

"I didn't doubt that you won," Mireya said with a little smile. Boys. They were all alike. Seriously. "I won't be able to heal you all the way either. The both of you are going to need multiple sessions. But I'm guessing you'll heal a little faster on your own than he will."

[Cedahlia]

Jiyong nodded at Lucian. "You're welcome back anytime." He said before going to go and see his brother. He was worried about him. Fighting someone like Yveltal rarely ended well. "You're an idiot, but a very kind and generous idiot." He said to his brother as he walked in.

"My grumpy brother asked me for a favour, I couldn't say no. Besides, did you not see that kid's face? He's too precious for Yveltal to have. I do so love taking things from him." He laughed, but then winced. "Miri, if you're too tired. Don't push yourself right now. Healing Gaius was the most important thing. I will heal faster on my own."

[Cedahlia]

"I am not so tired that I cannot do something to ease your pain," Mireya said, disregarding his protests. "I'm already doing it so you might as well relax and let it happen." She paused. "That sounded terrible. I'm sorry." He just protested help so much. "So who was it exactly that you fought? I don't think I've heard of him." Her brother would know. She didn't.

[Cedahlia]

"The God of Death and destruction. He's a class A asshole. When near death, he sucks the life energy from every living creature or plant around him. Likely, where ever the fight went down, is dead land for miles." Jiyong supplied for her, because Taeyang shut up and just closed his eyes and let her do what she wanted.

[Cedahlia]

"Oh my," Mireya said, looking surprised and a little alarmed. "That's awful. I would never want to be with such a man." She couldn't imagine who would. That sounded terrifying. No wonder that boy had been brought to them in such condition.

[Cedahlia]

"You'll never be with one either, we will make sure of that." Taeyang said, his tired hand taking his in hers. People like her and Gaius needed protecting from people like Yveltal. Him and his brother were just two people, but he'd try anyway.

"We will." Jiyong agreed, because he wasn't for it either. {We have Eden too.} he pointed out to his brother.

{He is but a man, a man that I can't stand to lose either.}

Jiyong nodded, he understood.

[Cedahlia]

"Oh you don't have to worry about me there," Mireya said with a smile and squeezed Taeyang's hand. "I'd like to think that I'd be able to tell if someone was a bad egg. But if I can't then I know you'll be there to back me up. My brother too." The golden glow of her hands faded. "How do you feel now? I'm afraid that's all I can do right now. But tomorrow I will do more," she promised.

[Cedahlia]

"Do more for the boy tomorrow. I'm fine." Taeyang said which was somewhat a lie, he was going to heal faster on his own though so he didn't think it mattered. "Give me an excuse to stay in bed and be spoiled."

"Like you need an excuse." Jiyong teased, he was barely holding it together. He would go to Mandisa as soon as Tae had fallen asleep. But he had to wait.

[Cedahlia]

Mireya frowned. "I'm going to help you. Just a little bit, okay?" It wouldn't sit well with her to leave someone who needed healing alone. But it was late. Rest would do both of the boys wonders. "Is there anything else that I can do now?" she asked of both brothers.

[Cedahlia]

"Only to take care of yourself and rest. You can stay here tonight or I'll take you home which would you prefer?" Jiyong asked, he was patient enough about it. He rubbed his brothers shoulder absent mindedly.
Taeyang only responded with a smile, he hadn't let go of Miri's hand. He squeezed it as he started to fall asleep.

[Cedahlia]

"I think I'll stay here," Mireya said. "That way if I'm needed, there won't be much of a delay." She didn't imagine that their wounds would require that they need her in the middle of the night but there was never any guarantee. She wanted to be there just in case her patients needed her.

[Cedahlia]

"I'll get Mandi to help me set up the last spare room though," Jiyong said and headed towards the door. "We need a bigger place, brother."

"I know, I keep bringing home strays." Taeyang chuckled. He couldn't help it.

[Cedahlia]

"My sister is a stray? Or do you mean Zeke?" Mireya asked with a laugh. She stood up and made sure that Taeyang was comfortable before following Jiyong out to where she could stay for the night.

[Cedahlia]

"Zeke. But I'm sure that just as with Zeke, Gaius will fit in easily and become part of the family in no time." Jiyong said with a smile, he didn't mind taking in people. But their place was getting too small.

[Cedahlia]

"I think you'll need a bigger place if you continue to take in the needy," Mireya said. "It's why we have the biggest house in the town, because nan and I need the space for our patients."

[Cedahlia]

"We will have to buy the next biggest then." Jiyong said but he went out into the kitchen and got a beer before he decided to set up her room. Because he needed it

"There are larger, more traditional looking houses outside of the village," Mireya reminded him. That was the sort that Jason lived in with his sister and father. Those houses were not part of the trees nor made to be part of them and just looked like the normal sort that had been overrun by the expanding forest. "You could likely get one of those..."
