Bobby Interview
Kayh sat down with Bobby in the library. What better place for two bibliophiles to chat? "Hi, Bobby," she greeted. "Do you love this place or what?" She asked as she gestured towards the stacks of books.
Re: Bobby Interview
Bobby laughed as be put the book down he was reading beside him on a small table. "This is probably the best library I have ever seen, it's where everyone finds me, honestly. I don't ever leave."
Re: Bobby Interview
"Well why would you? There's more books here than hours to read them in," Kayh commented. "So that means you like the Manor then? Are you planning on sticking around?"
Re: Bobby Interview
"If the kids want me to stay, I've nothing to make me leave." Bobby said honestly, there was literally nothing keeping him back from here. So that was that. "I just don't know how their friends will take it, having a parental figure around."
Re: Bobby Interview
"I suppose we'll have to wait and see on that one," Kayh said. "What do you think of their new friends?"
Re: Bobby Interview
"I think they all seem like positive people to have in their lives, I'm a little wary of Cam." Bobby said honestly, but only because Hikari had come to him recently and talked to him of her previous experience with men. "My girl is vulnerable and so is he. You know? He comes from somewhere dark and if she can help with that, that's great. But what if one his nightmares ends up so bad that he hurts her in his sleep? What if he just can't find the light and come out of it fully? There's a lot of possibilities that put me on edge. Mireya is such a sweetheart, I literally don't have to worry about her with Drake. She wouldn't know how to hurt him if she wanted too."
Re: Bobby Interview
"She really couldn't," Kayh agreed with a laugh. "I can understand your concerns with Cam. I think that might be something they'll have to work out on their own though. Do you think you'll make many friends? It can't be easy with not having anyone close to your age. The closest ones are 15 years your junior and 20 your senior."
Re: Bobby Interview
"To be honest, I'm not an old man so long as we have common interests I'll get along just fine with everyone. Zeke I think is the youngest, right? If he has something in common with me, we'd get on just fine." Bobby said, he'd happily be friends with most all of them. "I mean, the lady situation is a little dry if you know what I mean, but it's not like I'm in a rush to be with anyone."
Re: Bobby Interview
"No? Not feeling your biological clock ticking away?" Kayh asked. "There is a shortage of single ladies though. You're not wrong there. I'm curious who you'd be interested in if none of them were tsken, just to get an idea of your type."
Re: Bobby Interview
"Oh, of the girls already here?" Bobby said, a little stumped. "If Valery was older maybe...but other than that, none of them. That's so rude, I know. But I just, no. They're exceptionally gorgeous, of course. But they aren't people who I'd want to spend my life with. Also, my biological clock stopped ticking when I met tiny Ryuu and Hikari. Though I'm not really their dad, I don't feel like I require more when I have them in my life."
Re: Bobby Interview
"No one here is someone you'd like to spend your life with? What are you looking for then?" Kayh asked.
Re: Bobby Interview
"No, not one person." Bobby said, because he wasn't against men. But there wasn't any that he felt inclined to spend an entire lifetime with. "I don't know what I'm looking for, until I find it. Just not young girls, or princely boys or creepers." Definitely no creepers.
Re: Bobby Interview
"So no apparitions or shade callers," Kayh said. "I'm with you there. No creepers." Creepy people were too creepy. "Tall to me about your friendship with morgan. He doesn't come off as easy to be friends with and you've had to be a father to his children."
Re: Bobby Interview
"He's a very misguided fellow and I often tried to pull him back on track, but sometimes grief consumes you. I can't comment, or judge because there was a time it happened to me as well." Bobby shrugged, "I'm just glad he allowed me into his life enough that the kids weren't totally a lost cause from being neglected."
Re: Bobby Interview
"Do you think they'll be able to have a proper relationship with him if this finally ends and they find a way to defeat heatran?" Kayh asked.
Re: Bobby Interview
"I think that Drake will. I'm not sure about Hikari, he has done far more damage there and I think it's going to take a lot more to convince her that he's not going to do it again. Especially now that he's having more children. She wouldn't be cruel to them, or to Sirena. She doesn't have it in her, so she'll be sweet and too nice for her own good. Accept them as siblings and help out. But she won't be close with Morgan any time soon. I think, given that Cam has had his own issues with this, he might be able to help her get over it faster and it won't take twenty years. It might only take half of that, or a quarter. I'm not sure," Bobby said.
Re: Bobby Interview
"Do you think that Morgan will he a better father this time around? Has he learned from his mistakes? Or will these children also have an absentee father?"
Re: Bobby Interview
"I don't think Sirena will stand for that and is like to believe he's going to learn from his mistakes, if not because of Drake, but because of Hikari." Bobby said, he could only imagine how she would have reacted and looked at him.
Re: Bobby Interview
"And you don't want any children of your own?" Kayh asked. "You're not too old to have babies yet. If you wanted them."
Re: Bobby Interview
"I'm not against it, it wouldn't be a bad thing. But there's no one for me, I don't think. I came to terms with that long ago." Bobby admitted, he didn't seem sad about it. He was smiling happily.
Re: Bobby Interview
"Why would you think that?" Kayh asked, surprised. "You're a smart and attractive man. You could find someone that would want to be with you and have your babies."
Re: Bobby Interview
"I had that, a long time ago, yes. But while some people say that soul mates can be plentiful, friends or otherwise, I just think if there had been another, I'd have met them by now." Bobby shrugged.
Re: Bobby Interview
"But you were also doing the same thing in the same places for all that time," Kayh pointed out. "Now you're in an environment with new people. That changes things, don't you think?"
Re: Bobby Interview
"Maybe, if others come. Right now? I don't think so," Bobby laughed, he couldn't date someone seriously who was younger than Hikari that was weird.
Re: Bobby Interview
"There are some older ones," Kayh said thoughtfully. "But they're men so that doesn't exactly lend to giving you babies."
