Jiro blinked. "You think I'm cute?" He asked. He'd forgotten about the apples. The cookies were making the place smell like apples and yumminess. "Why would it be weird?"

"Because." Tan said, he couldn't explain it to Jiro. He was meant to be like an uncle to him, but he wasn't any more. He was also not really 14, which is why he often forgot that fact and was a little flirty. "I think you're very cute."

Jiro didn't understand the because. Him being cute wouldn't make things weird. But he blushed just a little bit. He really did like older boys and the attention he got from them. Tan was no exception.

"Especially when you blush," Tan said, because he found he liked that. A lot. He brushed his fingertips across Jiro's cheek bone where the blush was most prominent. "Can we pretend it isn't weird?"

"Yes," Jiro answered. He liked the way it felt when his cheek was touched. "Your hair is turning pink..." He commented. It wasn't like he couldn't notice. It was right there.

"Heh, that's an embarrassing side affect of being a dratini. When I'm attracted to someone, my hair turns pink." Tan said, but Jiro had said they could pretend it wasn't weird. So he was going to go with that. That made him happy. "Don't be mad at me later, okay?" He asked as he leaned in to kiss Jiro.

Jiro didn't know why he would be mad later. There wasn't anything wrong with kissing, right? He couldn't deny it as being real after seeing the proof. Pink proof. He almost laughed internally. He took the kiss and he found that he liked the way it felt. Tan's lips were warm. He tasted like apples. Mmm

Tan liked it too, he realised he'd been missing out on kisses. But his cheeks turned the same colour as his cheeks, so he cleared his throat. "The cookies should be done, do you want one?"

"Apples..." Jiro said. He definitely wanted a cookie if it had apples in it. He was all for that. He wanted more kisses though too. He didn't see what the big deal was. They felt nice. But people wouldn't do it so much in movies if they didnt, right?

Tan laughed, he couldn't help himself. Jiro was just so adorable. He stole another quick kiss and then pulled the cookies out of the oven. "So, I don't really know how this stuff works." He said as he put the cookies out to cool, "are we like a couple now or..."

Jiro looked blankly at Tan. "I don't know how it works either. My parents avoided the talk with me," he said. That had been about sex though, not dating. "Do you want to kiss other people?"

Tan looked thoughtful. Would he like kissing other people? Probably not because he liked Jiro. "I don't think so, I mean I don't know other people. So it's harder for me to say. Do you?"

"No. I don't like people," Jiro said. "I like you though." So that was something. "Do we keep it secret?" He asked. He wasn't sure how he'd explain to his new family that he was dating his dragons. He could say tutor. That was okay, right?

"Oh, they will love you as a friend. But not as my boyfriend, it's very complicated." Tan said with a shrug, but he picked up one of the slightly too warm cookies and handed it to Jiro.

Jiro was just going to take his word on that. He took the cookie, blew on it, and then devoured it. "Mmm," he said happily. He loved the cookie. It tasted like apples. "More please."

"I will eat dinner," Jiro protested. "Eden is a good cook." So was Aunt Lena. So he would do fine with dinner. He ate the cookie. He wished there was more fish around.

"What else do you like, other than apples, art and kisses?" Tan asked, he would at some point cook for him. It was just a thing be thought he should do.

"Fish," Jiro said. "And ice cream." He liked food. He was picky though. He had rich tastes from his current and previous life.

"That would be gross together," Tan laughed, but he took it on board anyway. He would totally cook for him next time. "But I know some good fish recipes." He let Jiro have one more cookie.

"I've had salmon sorbet before. It was strange," Jiro said. Those fancy parties his parents had taken him to had been so odd. So very, very odd.

"Sorbet is just flavoured ice. Like slush puppies, or ice blasts." Tan said shaking his head, it would still be weird but not nearly as weird as fish ice cream. "Do you have a favourite fish?"

Jiro listed his three favorite fish. "I really like all of them though," he said. "I'll eat anything that comes from the sea. Oh but not you," he added as Tan was a kind of dragon that lived in the sea.
