"All right. I'll expect you back in a couple hours," she said, taking out some bread from the fridge and a cheese spread.

"Yup," Wolf said and left the place to go get breakfast. He was there early, he just rolled like that. He ordered coffee from the waitress as he headed towards a booth near the back. He liked to have a visual advantage over the room. He couldn't help it. Hunter.

Blake had gotten there early. She watched him walk right past her table to go to the back. She didn't think him rude. It was obvious he hadn't noticed her. She got up from her table, taking her juice with her, and approached him. "Hi."

"Hello! Sorry, I didn't see you," Wolf said adjusting himself with his back to the wall. He could see everywhere in here now and be felt better. "What do you want for breakfast? It's my treat, you eat as much you like too."

[Cedahlia]

"Oh. You don't have to do that," Blake said as she sat down at the table with him. She didn't eat a lot so she wouldn't order a lot. A breakfast sandwich would be enough.

"But I'm going too, as an apology for last night. I didn't mean to be...hm. I wouldn't ever hurt you, I'm just mad protective over my girls." Wolf said as he waved the waitress over. He ordered all the food. Like a stack of pancakes, so much bacon, hash browns, that sausage and white gravy thing, eggs. The works. He ate so much.

"Yeah so she's said," Blake replied. She was still a little hesitant though. Her eyes widened a little at the list of food. She just ordered her breakfast sandwich with a side of fruit.

"I don't mean to be, just when I adopt I mean it." Wolf said, he explained how he'd never wanted children really. That it had changed when he met hex and Wisp. "Hex says you are considering being adopted now too."

[Cedahlia]

Blake shrugged. "I don't know. She made it sound pretty nice. But I've been on my own for a long time and I'm almost old enough to have kids of my own. There's probably no point." She didn't really want to get her hopes up about it.

[Cedahlia]

"How old are you?" Wolf asked curiously. He did wonder if they would get on like that or if she'd fit someone else really well.

[Cedahlia]

"Um...in human terms?" Blake wasn't really sure of the difference fully but she'd studied humans enough to know. "I'm fifteen."

[Cedahlia]

"Not nearly old enough for kids," Wolf laughed, he thought that was way too young. "I was on my own for a long time too, my parents died when I was just a lil younger than you."

[Cedahlia]

"Mine were taken by a Poacher when I was real little," Blake said. "Apparently I was too little to be useful so I got thrown in an ice river and ended up here." She shrugged. "What happened to your parents? Were you adopted?"

[Cedahlia]

"I wasn't and they died doing what they love most, saving people and fiends. So it's not so bad. I didn't know any of my other family so, when they died on the job I ran. When it was safe I went back and gave them a proper funeral pyre. It was pretty great, exactly what they wanted." Wolf explained, they had something in common at least. That was good. "Do you miss them? I miss mine all the time."

[Cedahlia]

"I do," Blake said. "I don't remember them so well anymore. I remember how they made me feel more than what they look like exactly. But our kind don't have huge differences between us so I can use my imagination," she continued.

[Cedahlia]

"I'm sure they were lovely. I'm sorry you had to lose them." Wolf said, he moved though as all the food came out for them. Well mostly him. "If any of this looks good to you, please don't be shy about pinching it from me. Tell me what you like doing with your time when not hiding under a bridge."

[Cedahlia]

"I'm a good hunter," Blake said. "I'm fairly nocturnal so I spend my nights hunting mice mostly. I can scrap too. I have to defend my food supply and scare off males looking for a baby mama." She thought about what else she did. "Um...that's mostly it. I collect shiny things."

[Cedahlia]

"And you're a lesbian? Or something else? Just curious here. I'm honestly not against it. My friend is pansexual and the other is bisexual." Wolf shrugged as he ate. "I'm also good at hunting. So we have that in common too."

[Cedahlia]

"I don't know," Blake admitted. "I haven't really given it too much thought until I met your daughter. I know I don't want to be some majestoat's baby mama. But I don't know." She hadn't figured that out yet. "Don't let Hex make you feel bad for thinking I was a boy yesterday either. She thought I was too. I think it's why she gave me a boy's name."

[Cedahlia]

"You didn't have a name before Hex?" Wolf said and his face just sank, he hated that fiends didn't get names if humans didn't give them to them, which was how it worked normally. "I'm sorry..."

[Cedahlia]

"It's okay," Blake said, seeing the expression on his face and realizing she might have said something wrong. "I didn't really need one before." She shrugged, to show it wasn't any big deal.

[Cedahlia]

"It is to me, everyone deserves a name. Even a silly one like Wolf." He replied shaking his head. It was so sad. "I think you'd really like it with us. If you don't hate me after yesterday."

[Cedahlia]

"I don't hate you for being protective of your daughter," Blake replied. "I think you might have your hands full with Hex...And I'm not exactly inclined to just leave my nice little den to go live with people I don't know..." What if they didn't like her? What then?

[Cedahlia]

"Oh I thought you wanted to be adopted?" Wolf asked with a tiny amount of sass. Just enough to make it funny.

[Cedahlia]

Blake smiled a little bit. "I was thinking about it," Blake said. "I haven't really made a decision.  I've been on my own for so long that I don't know how well I'll do around others. And with a parent. Or parents. It'll be weird. Maybe good weird? I don't know. Hex seems to like it..."
