"I can," Nuala replied calmly. "We can proceed when you feel comfortable with my identity." She didn't know the personal stories of these two but all hunters seemed to have that one thing that motivated them and left them living in fear. She wondered what theirs was.

[Cedahlia]

"My people can be slow to respond, you've shown us trust in revealing you are a princess, it's only right we show you some in return." Bobby said, he just hoped that her story was true.

"Did you ever fix your brothers problem?" Drake asked, as Bobby stepped out of the car. He was impatient to find the monster who was causing havoc, as always.

[Cedahlia]

"His curse was broken but not by us," Nuala answered as she watched Bobby leave the car. She was unsure of what they wanted her to do at this point.

[Cedahlia]

"By who?" Drake asked, because if it wasn't done right, her brother was dead. Which sucked.

"Talk and walk, people. We are running a schedule here." Bobby said and opened the door for Nuala.

[Cedahlia]

Nuala was relieved that they were going in. She got out of the car quickly and waited to follow Bobby. "A kiss from a young princess broke his curse," she informed Drake.

[Cedahlia]

"How precious." Drake said, in a way that meant he literally had no interest in it. In fact, he immediately forgot about it as he walked into the police station.

Bobby chuckled, Drake didn't care for romance yet. He was too young. "Thank you for sharing." He said though as he walked up to the desk. "Evening, I'm special agent Kripke from the fbi and this is trainee agent Drake Winchester. We've been called in about a couple of suspicious murders?"

"Let me get you the sheriff," the receptionist responded and picked up the phone.

The sheriff was not in the least bit pleased to hear that FBI had arrived. "I don't recall asking for any outside help. I'll need to see some IDs," he sneered at them.

"I called them," Nuala spoke up.

The sheriff's eyes went to her and his demeanor immediately changed. "Oh well..."

"You do recall the conversation we had upon my arrival, yes?" Nuala asked.

"Well yes, Miss-"

"Good," Nuala interrupted smoothly. "These men need to review your files and see the video. If they need anything else you will accommodate."

"Right this way then, gentlemen."

Bobby and Drake both flashed identification when asked regardless. Because they didn't want the Princess to get into any trouble for vouching for non-officals.

They followed anyway. "We need to know what you know so far. As well as the video and files." Bobby said.

"I'll go through the files and the tape." Drake offered.

[Cedahlia]

The sheriff gave them the information as requested with the video and files set up in a private room. What he said was basically what they already knew but with more details on the murders. The pictures spoke for the graphic nature of the way the girls were killed more than words could.

The video also showed someone who looked exactly like Zack going into the apartment at the time of the murder. It had not been tampered with in any discernible way.

"There's nothing else you can tell me, Sheriff?" Bobby asked curiously, because he knew they hated outside help. "Look, we aren't going to take your arrest. We won't get in the way of your investigation either, it just seems to align with one of our own cases. A serial killer who is very good at disguising himself to look like a loved one."

Drake watched the tape. Nothing looked massively suspicious, he could tell it was legit. Nothing was added in, or taken out. He would have believed that Zack had done it, if not for one thing, as the murderer turned towards the camera his eyes glowed like a cats with a light shining on them. He dashed out of the room. "Sheriff, is there a tape from the other murder?"

[Cedahlia]

The sheriff nodded and ordered someone to bring the other tape. "What else? I don't know. There wasn't any sign of forced entry. Neither of the women show any sign of struggle until after they were struck unconscious and tied up. If there is a guy dressing up as loved ones, I can understand how they'd get in but after that you'd think the women would have noticed once they got up close."

[Cedahlia]

"I'm not sure what to tell you there, Sheriff. I mean, there is a lot of ways to make your face look like someone else's if you have the money." Bobby explained and watched Drake disappear back into the room.

Drake waited and when it came he watched. He pulled Nuala in with him. "Did you see that?" He asked, tapping the screen when the guy turned. The flashing lights happened. He paused it and looked at the other screen. Both had the same thing.

"Plastic surgery being the most common? I could see that for one but not both. Not within days of each other. They wouldn't have time to heal," the sheriff said, shaking his head.

Nuala watched the screen with Drake. "Well that's definitely not human," she commented when she saw what his eyes were doing. "So what is it? What can do that?"

[Cedahlia]

"There are less permanent ways. Such as silicone masks that give the basic look and features of a person. Like they do in movies to make you look old." Bobby said, that seemed to be the best way he could explain it. Most law enforcement places didn't like to think it was a fiend masquerading as a human.

"I think it's a shapeshifter, there's a few fiends that can do that. So I'm just generalizing. But you can rest easy to know that it isn't your friend." Drake said because even if the guys sister was telling the truth, some people needed to see it to believe it.

[Cedahlia]

"So you think some rich freak is getting his kicks by pretending to be the loved ones of these women to murder them?" the sheriff asked. "That's a bit of a stretch." No, he didn't think it was a fiend. Because those sort of attacks were a little more obvious and far less subtle most of the time.

"I knew it wasn't Zack," Nuala said but she was happy to have some sort of proof. It might not be enough for everyone but it was for her. "So, how do we kill it?" she asked. "Every fiend has a weakness."

[Cedahlia]

"Not really, it's the easiest way to gain access to a house without it being a cause for alarm. If its not that, my best guess is a fiend. These people had no reason to kill their girlfriends." Bobby said, testing the water.

"You don't want to bring them in for justice, princess? We are jumping straight to killing?" Drake asked with an amused grin.

[Cedahlia]

"Now that I can agree on," the sheriff said. "Both men were clean. No priors. No history of anger or violence. Nothing. And from what we can gather they both had normal and happy relationships."

"How do you bring a fiend to justice, Drake?" Nuala asked with an answering smile. "I bring this murdering creature in front of the courts or my father and you know what the sentence will be? Death. So might as well skip causing everyone all that trouble and deal with it now."

[Cedahlia]

"Well, let's get them back to their families." Bobby said, because they deserved that. "I'll have to take your files back to my room and look over them tonight, is that okay?"

"You're a naughty one, aren't you?" Drake said, he was a flirtatious one, but she was massively pretty and he was a horny teenage boy.

[Cedahlia]

"That's fine," the sheriff said. "I appreciate the cooperation. You find something, you let me know."

"I can be," Nuala said. She liked Drake. She knew exactly what he was thinking. It was pretty predictable with hot boys of their age. But boys were easily intimidated by her title and status. Drake was not. And she liked that.

[Cedahlia]

"I will," Bobby said and offered the guy for his hand for a shake. "I'm sorry if you felt like I was stepping on your toes when I arrived."

"I like that," Drake said with a smirk. He pulled all the files together. "Bobby will want to go through these, while he does do you want to take a guy for a drink and a burger? I'm starved." always.

[Cedahlia]

Sheriff shrugged and took Bobby's hand. "It happens. I understand. I'm all about catching the guys that did this, you understand. If it's not the men we've got locked up, then I want that fixed. Even if it requires help."

"I could use a burger too," Nuala said. "I know a local place that's open until the wee hours of the night. We can drop Bobby off and then go for a bite. And maybe you'll tell me more about your theories?"

[Cedahlia]

"Same here. I'll do my best to help you. You got a direct line I can call if I find anything?" Bobby asked, because that would help.

"Sure, that and other things." Drake said with a wink as he hefted the box of files up and carried them out of the room.

[Cedahlia]

"Yeah, here it is," the sheriff said and gave Bobby his direct line. "We'll be up late if you find anything. People don't rest when murderers walk the streets."

Nuala laughed quietly and followed after Drake. There wasn't anything left for her to carry and at this point she didn't think they needed those videos. They'd both watched them. Other than the eye reflection there was nothing else to show.

"Thanks, I won't sleep either." Bobby promised. He had no intention of doing so either. He waved and went outside with the kids.

"I'll drive Bobby, we are going to go get a burger once we've dropped you off." Drake explained, as he put the files in the back of the car and left the door open for Nuala.

"Well I'm going to the motel, I'll call up Hikari and let her know." Bobby promised as he climbed into the passenger seat.

"Are you staying far from Beckie's house?" Nuala asked as she got into the car. Not that it mattered. She had plenty of time. Hopefully the fiend wouldn't hurt anyone else while they were figuring things out. And hopefully this would be over soon and Zack could go back home to heal with his family.
