"Come on. We can go talk in my room," Yuui said and gestured for Wall to stay with the others. If Drake struggled at least he wouldn't have to worry about eyes on him.

Yuui got up and lead the way up the stairs and into the room. It was slightly bigger with a massive bed because Wall took up a lot of space. He jumped into the bed and looked at Drake, waiting for him to join him.

[Cedahlia]

Drake sat down on the corner of the bed. But he still didn't speak, he wasn't sure what to say. Or how to express what he needed too. "So you're okay, right?"

[Cedahlia]

"I'm fine," Yuui assured him. "It's a little strange to not be human any more but this is hardly the strangest thing to happen to me. Nor the worst situation or experience I've ever been through. I'm really okay. I promise."

[Cedahlia]

"Okay. Good." Drake said and looked at his hands for a minute. "I wanted to come over, this morning. I hope you're not upset that I didn't. I just.
.. You scared me. Yesterday."

[Cedahlia]

"I understand," Yuui said. "It's all right. I didn't mean to scare you like that. I really am sorry..." He really did feel bad for Drake. But he couldn't regret what had happened either. People had slipped up. It happened. And innocents often paid when slip ups happened on dangerous journeys. But Yuui was fine. Wall had saved him. "Don't be upset, please," he requested and put his hand on Drake's. "I only want to see you smile."

[Cedahlia]

"I know that's why I need you. It's so hard here. You and Hikari, are literally all that's keeping me together. It's hard with Megumi, weird even. I like her and she's sweet. But its so... Complicated." Drake said, it was about as expressive as he could get. "I'm really super glad you're okay."

[Cedahlia]

"Me too," Yuui said with a smile. "I'm very fond of you and your sister, Drake. I don't have any intention of leaving you alone in this place. It his hard. And it's only going to get harder the close we come to the End. But I'll help you through it and see you make it back home."

[Cedahlia]

"You're the only friend other than Jiro I have here." Drake said, that was his way of saying he appreciated it. That Yuui was very important to him. He didn't know how else to express that, or put it into words

[Cedahlia]

"I'm honored that you think of me that way," Yuui said. "I know it's hard for you. For both of you. It isn't easy for damaged people to let others in. You and your sister are broken but that's okay. That just means that when you reach the good part of your life, and you will, you'll be able to fully appreciate just how wonderful it is. And if I can help you get there a little faster, then I'll be happy."

[Cedahlia]

Drake laughed, it was one of those 'not sure I believe that' kind of laughs. But still. "Can you come back with us? I think I need these pep talks more than I let on."

[Cedahlia]

Yuui laughed. "No, I'm afraid not. Time travel is not exactly a permitted exercise for Mew's priests. But I would gather, given our bond and the very real existence of reincarnation, that we will meet again. Perhaps I will have a different face and a different name, but it will all be the same in the end." He thought it was terribly sweet that Drake wanted him to return with him. And certainly, if Mew would allow such a thing, he would happily do so. But he did not see that happening. Plus there was Wall to think of.

[Cedahlia]

"Well then... I guess I look forward to meeting you in another life." Drake said though that didn't fix the immediate issue of loss. But he'd be okay.

[Cedahlia]

Yuui could only smile. It was not something he could know would happen of course but he had a feeling that those things just did. Bonds you formed with another didn't just go away with death. They remained tied to the respective souls. Clearly him being here was proof of that. "Shall I sing for you? It's something that I do for Wall that always seems to boost him back up when he feels down."

[Cedahlia]

"Would you like too?"  Drake asked, he wasn't going to say no. He realised that Yuui was doing something very sweet. So he wouldn't be rude.

[Cedahlia]

"I would," Yuui said. He didn't care at all that Drake was a grown man. He still wrapped his arms around him to give him comfort, something Drake sorely needed, or at least seemed to. He needed to be reassured that Yuui was still with him and okay.

Silence remains was the song he sang. Music came to Yuui easily. It was something soft, something meant to comfort. The words spilled up from his heart, from his very soul, and out into the air.

[Cedahlia]

Drake hugged him back, but if anyone asked he'd deny that such a thing went down. He was quiet as he listened.

"That song..." Drake said quietly when Yuui finished. "It's like it's about me. Did you do that on purpose?"

[Cedahlia]

"I did," Yuui said. "I made it. Just for you. If you want, you can keep it. Maybe it will remind you of me when you return home." He would never tell about this moment they shared. Grown men tended to get embarrassed by such things. Yuui didn't want him to feel embarrassed for seeking comfort when he felt weak. It's what he should do. And hopefully, when he did return home, there would be someone he could find comfort in.

[Cedahlia]

"I'll never forget you, you know that don't you? In a really dark area of my life where I was made to feel like nothing but a tool, you came in and reminded everyone that I'm a person. That means a lot." Drake said, because it just did. "You're keeping Hikari grounded as well, this is really hard on her because she's so young and easily falls in love. Jihae hasn't helped and I can see that he hasn't exactly tried to stop her, because he knows. He knows that if she loves him, she will blindly follow. You're helping her get ready for the inevitable and she really needs that."

[Cedahlia]

Yuui could only smile, even if that smile was a little sad. "I'll never forget you either, Drake. You and your sister are very special and amazing people. The gods favor you, but I know you don't feel like that now. You probably won't for a while. They have very strange ways of showing their favor." Very strange. "I'm happy to have made your path a little easier to travel."

[Cedahlia]

"A lot, but form here on can you work harder with Hikari? I'm so scared of what will happen when we go home. I'm good, honestly you've taught me so much and I've always survived before. But she won't. Not leaving her heart behind."

[Cedahlia]

Yuui nodded. "Yes, I can certainly do that. I think under different circumstances he would have been able to return her feelings. As it stands, he could be her ancestor. That would be terribly awkward," Yuui said with a smile. "I will do what I can for both of them there though."

[Cedahlia]

"I don't really want to hear excuses. He's not stopping her, he's somewhat encouraging her. So it makes me mad. But I appreciate that you will do it. I really do."

[Cedahlia]

"Oh he definitely infuriates me," Yuui admitted. "He's not at all hard to manipulate though he is more complicated. I can do it. I'll get started on it tomorrow," he promised.

[Cedahlia]

"You're so sneakily bad." Drake laughed, because Yuui didn't make it a secret with him. Manipulating people was hardly a thing to be proud of, yet Yuui was when it was to do with helping them.

[Cedahlia]

Yuui laughed. "I might be a priest but I am certainly no saint," he said. And no, manipulating was not very good in most cases. But Yuui was a master at making people work in favor of the Chosen Ones. He had no guilt or shame but didn't advertise it to anyone but Drake. Jihae had caught on but still couldn't seem to stop Yuui from doing it to him. It was part of why they didn't get on.
