Re: Poe Interview
"I don't think they're blind so much as loyal. Plenty of them would tell them off if they were being stupid." Nicki laughed, Bobby for instance. She couldn't imagine anyone just jumping when told too. "But then, having more people tell them that they're stupid is always amusing. What do you do with all your time currently?"
Re: Poe Interview
"I observe," Poe said. "I am a great fan of beauty. I love to travel and see what the world has to offer in culture, literature and art. I spend most of my time pursuing such interests."
Re: Poe Interview
"Good thing to be interested in." Nicki inclined her head. But she figured he'd be into stuff like that. "What things don't you like?"
Re: Poe Interview
"Other than water?" Poe asked. "I do not like things that are simple and one dimensional," he said. "I prefer things with depth. I am not such a fan of anything too overly bright. My eye gets tired of looking at rainbows and sunshine after not too long."
Re: Poe Interview
"Same here, I can't be dealing with too much brightness and such." Nicki said, she liked the dark and mysterious over that. "So tell me about the godslayer thing and how that makes you feel as a person? Who gave it to you?
Re: Poe Interview
"Arceus," Poe answered. "Each of his children serve a purpose in the world. Space, Time, Land, Sea, Sky. All of it. They are meant to guard that which they were created with by him. But sometimes things go wrong. Heatran is a prime example of that. While conflict isn't something he is against, he doesn't like it when they turn against that which they were meant to protect. So I am one of the failsafes. As for how I feel, I quite like it. I enjoy being one of the ways to check and even destroy those that go too far from their purpose. There are not many things or creatures that gods fear, after all. So for me, it's quite the pleasure."
Re: Poe Interview
"I'm so glad you didn't come off as arrogant then," Nicki laughed because that would have been ironic and hypocritical. "Have you ever had to use it? Why haven't you with heatran?"
Re: Poe Interview
"I have," Poe said. "But it is not something that is used often. At the time where Arceus had to make a decision with Heatran, the world was still new. And he didn't want to yet kill any of his creations. So sealing Heatran seemed the better option. As long as he remains sealed, he doesn't pose so much of a threat on the rest of the world, and so he has not been sentenced to death. But the others that came after him, the ones that abandoned their purpose and turned on those they were meant to guard and protect, he wanted gone. He realized, I think, that starting over and creating them anew or replacing them with someone more worthy, was the better option. It may yet come that Heatran oversteps and is given the death sentence. But not yet."
Re: Poe Interview
"Who have you slayed?" She asked curiously. Her interest spiked then, it couldn't be so many gods that had been taken down. People would notice.
Re: Poe Interview
"Oh none of the ones you would have heard of," Poe said with a little smirk. "They've all be remade or replaced. Humans don't notice these sorts of things. People just tend to forget that a god once represented something and go easily along with the new one. But I think there are those out there that encourage that. Not I, of course."
