Alex and Wolf: The Talk

[Cedahlia]

Tonight, for the first time in a long time, Alex was alone with Wolf.

Jes and gone off to do things alone with Aya. Strife was...well who knew where Strife had gone. He just wasn't about so that was nice.

Alex was in his room. He was sat on his bed while looking at Wolf. "We haven't been alone in ages," he commented. "I was thinking that maybe we could...well I've been thinking about it for a while and..." He started to get shy.

Wolf immediately thought sex. He couldn't help it. It was the first time they'd been alone for a long time. Which was always a good time for make outs. Doing more. "Go on," he said a little bit pervertedly. He loved that Alex was still shy about asking for that stuff.

Alex blushed from the way that Wolf had said that. "Well it's just that I don't know when we're going to get another chance and I know you've been wanting to for a while now." He took a breathe. "I think I'm finally ready. To have the talk with you. About me."

[Cedahlia]

Oh man, the brakes screeched inside Wolf's mind and his entire body had to wind backwards. He'd been ready to go, like seriously. And then he realised he was getting the wrong end of the stick. "Oh, yeah?" He asked.

[Cedahlia]

"Yes..." Alex said nervously. Wolf looked pretty thrown off. He wasn't sure if that was a good sign. "If you...if you want to."

[Cedahlia]

"Oh I do, I'd love to hear about your past. But you know I wouldn't push to hear it. So only if you're ready," Wolf said and kissed Alex's temple softly.

[Cedahlia]

"I am," Alex said. He was still nervous but a little less so now. "Whatever questions you have, I'll answer them."

[Cedahlia]

"Ah, no. Alex, that isn't how it works okay?" Wolf said and turned Alex to look at him. "Me asking is pushing. If you want to tell me, tell me. Don't make me drag it out of you."

[Cedahlia]

Alex took a breath. "Okay," he said. "But if I say something and you do have a question, you can ask, all right?" He didn't want Wolf to feel like he couldn't. "So...I guess I'll just answer the big question first and go from there," he decided.

"I'm Uxie."

[Cedahlia]

"The knowledge part of the guardians?" Wolf said, he was thoughtful as he said that. "That actually makes sense. Go on."

[Cedahlia]

Alex nodded. He didn't think it would be surprising to those who had heard of him. "My job is...complicated. My siblings and I exist to keep the gods in check, should they rebel. We don't have to often but sometimes it happens, especially if humans interfere and influence them..." He took a breath. "When the world was made, a fiend was created as a by product. His name is Heatran. He is the God of Destruction. I may have gifted the original gods, and the ones that have followed since, with knowledge and reason but he...He does not care for those things. All he cares about is making more of himself and covering the world in his fire. So we had to seal him away. The originals, they couldn't do it. They were too young. But we were made to do so. We helped them seal him into the core of this world and we created the Orbs to help him remain there."

He took a breath. "I don't want to talk about what was done to bind me. I'm not ready for that. But I was bound to weaken the seal. Like I am now, I have very limited access to my abilities. I am mostly defenseless now. If I died, the seal would be broken. There is a backup, created by the Orbs so that he wouldn't be able to escape immediately but he's already going after the guardians and the princesses who can wield the orbs against him."

[Cedahlia]

"I won't let you die," Wolf promised, he'd die before that happened. "Do you want us to help you with heatran? Get Drake and Hikari involved too? Or just wait?"

[Cedahlia]

"I can't do anything until I am free of these binds," Alex replied. "And I do not think that you can help me there. As for them, they are already involved. They just don't know it yet."

[Cedahlia]

"How do we free you from the binds?" Wolf asked then, as it was the natural next question.

[Cedahlia]

"I would need the help of the gods. Or an artifact. We're more likely to find an ancient artifact though. I have no way of contacting my brothers and sisters now without him knowing."

[Cedahlia]

"But I could, right?" Wolf pointed out. He didn't think that heatran would know that.

[Cedahlia]

Alex thought on that. "Well yes. You could." Heatran wouldn't know. It wasn't like the thing knew where he was right now. He was hidden pretty damn well. "But if I'm free...what will happen with us?" he asked.

[Cedahlia]

"You being happy is my biggest priority, I want you to know that." Wolf said, before he said anything else. "If that means you don't want to be with me because you don't have to be human, I understand."

[Cedahlia]

"That isn't what I want," Uxie said. "I wouldn't have given in to you if I didn't mean to stay with you after I've been freed. I just want to work that out with you. Because I want to be me again...but I don't mind being human so much. Not around you at least."

[Cedahlia]

"I can't be with you if you're a fiend, I don't mean that how it sounds. But I'm human and I have human needs. I need to be held, I need intimacy, I can't have that with a fiend, but I'm happy to be a fiend with you sometimes and I understand that other times you'll have to be in that form." Wolf said, because he wasn't unreasonable. "Just not always, please."

[Cedahlia]

"It wouldn't be always. I wouldn't do that to you," Alex said. "You would become a fiend for me?" He was surprised. Fiends were what they hunted. He couldn't imagine many Hunters doing something like that.

[Cedahlia]

"Well yeah, it's the only way I can understand you properly and then sometimes I can give you snuggles as a fiend and not a human so it's fair on us both." Wolf explained, but it was obvious to him.

[Cedahlia]

Alex just stared at Wolf. But then he threw his arms around him and squeezed him tightly. He didn't have any words to express how he felt.

[Cedahlia]

Wolf hugged him back tightly. "Did I say something wrong?" He asked, because silence wasn't always a good thing.

[Cedahlia]

"No, I'm just happy," Alex said. "I'm not very used to being happy so I'm not good at expressing it."
