Alex answered him with a smile. He just kept holding on to him. "I just...You've taken it all so well and I didn't know if you would or what would happen. Assuming at all that I even am freed because if not then all we have to worry about is making you immortal."

"Well, I thought about all of this before I started to pursue you seriously. I knew that you'd want to be unbound and that it would make you happy and I asked myself then if I could be with a fiend." Wolf explained, because it was important that Alex knew.

"I realised that no, I could not. But I could easily compromise so long as you could. So then I decided to not give up on you."
