Bobby chuckled. He liked watching the kids interact. Especially with others. Hikari was adorable crushing on Jake too.

"I don't smell that bad," Jake protested. "Two day old gyms socks at the most," he said. "Left out in the open, not in a gym bah either." But he got up and went off to his room to shower.

Nuala finished making the tea and delivered it to each of the sibling's rooms and then joined the others. "So while they rest and we wait for nightfall, what's the plan?" she asked. She'd never hunted something like this before and she didn't know what to do.

Hikari just giggled as Jake walked away. Boys never smelled bad in their own minds. But in reality they smelled kind of awful sometimes.

"We get stuff together. Weapons, flashlights that kind of thing. If you're coming with us, princess can I suggest a different outfit?" Bobby said because he'd hate to ruin her mothers dress.

"Hikari can go back to the motel at any time, you're not coming with us." Drake said.

"I'm old enough to hunt."

"Shouldn't she stay here with the others?" Nuala asked. "I realize it might be boring for her while they're having a rest but surely that's better than leaving her on her own." She looked down at her dress. "Yes, I suppose you're right. This is definitely not the outfit for exploring the sewers. I'll have to go back to the hotel and change."

"No I need to actually get some studying done." Hikari said, she didn't think that the others would notice she was gone. "A decent shower for me might be a good idea too."

"Bobby is homeschooling her, she has a test in like a month. A big one." Drake said, not that he did it. That was his choice. Hikari was super smart though.

"Huge one." Bobby said, because he wanted Hikari to know that if she failed it was going to be so bad.

"Oh well then, I wouldn't dissuade you from getting a good education," Nuala said. She completely understood that. She'd already finished the basic lessons. Most of what she learned now was related to how to handle the kingdom and assist the people. This counted as assisting the people of course

"Oh I had one of those." Hikari said, because she'd gotten a decent education at normal schools. "When I went with Jake."

"She's on high school graduate stuff already. After that I guess it's just basic history on fiends and such the like." Bobby said, Hikari whizzed through stuff so quickly.

Drake didn't care for any of that. "need a ride to your hotel?" He asked.

"A ride would be easier," Nuala said. "Oh but you have to take Hikari to the hotel and that's in a different direction," she realized. "It's fine. I have my own ride. Thank you though," she said with a smile and went outside and searched through her bag for the right capture sphere.

"I'm actually going to get a cab," Hikari said, because she didn't want to cock block her brother. That wasn't very chill.

"You sure?" Bobby said and when she nodded, he handed her some cash. "Pick up something nice. Sushi, or what ever you kids are into."

"Thanks, Bobby." Hikari grinned and kissed his cheek as she took it. Her laptop bag on her shoulder she followed Nuala out. "I'm getting a cab, so you don't have to do that. To be honest, I'm thankful to not be surrounded by guys constantly this trip. Or fussing over me."

"Oh, I can certainly imagine. It would drive me absolutely bonkers to be stuck with just men all day. Even if they were family. I think that might be worse," Nuala said with a giggle. She replaced the capture sphere in her bag. "Enjoy your break, Hikari. When this is all over we should do something fun together if they don't steal you off right away."

"They might, you're better off asking them. I'm outvoted all the time." Hikari laughed and then ran off out of the door. She'd like that though, it would be nice to spend time with an actual girl.

"Ask us what?" Drake asked with a grin as he and bobby came out to get going.

Bobby and Drake looked at each other. Bobby nodded slightly. "Sure, she needs that. Desperately. I mean, she's going to want to learn make up and about what clothes suit her. I can't do that." Drake replied.

"No, you can't," Nuala said with a laugh. "But I can. And I absolutely plan to." Which would be nice for her too. She only had brothers. And no mother. So it wasn't like she had many girls in her life either. Other than her friends. She at least had those.

Nuala nearly doubled over with giggles. "Oh no. I can just imagine. Oh my goodness no. I just can't have that." She shook her head. "You know, that's perfectly fine. I'll give her my number. When she's in Kanto she can give me a call and we'll do things together. I travel a lot too for my duties." She liked the sound of that. Hikari needed a girl in her life even if it was just sporadically.

"That's perfect," Bobby said, he approved massively. Maybe having a princess female role figure would make her more girlie. Right now, she was a Tom boy because of what she grew up around.

"Great, so when she gets pubes she can talk to you about it and not me. Or whatever else girls go through because I just can't any more. Im not meant to be a parent yet." Drake laughed.

"I should hope not," Nuala said. "It's fine. I can handle all of the mom and sister stuff." She wasn't ready to be a mother but as HIkari didn't have one of those or even an older sister to go to, Nuala was happy to fill in that role for her. Girls needed other girls. Boy had literally no idea what a girl went through during puberty. She did. And the social aspect? Just as clueless. She had plenty of experience there. She'd sort things for Hikari right out. "Shall we go?"

Drake again opened the door for Nuala before climbing into the front. He was quiet as Bobby drove.

Nuala stayed quiet as well. She only sent a message to Beckie to keep her updated on what was happening and to tell her to just rest easy and keep her door and windows locked. Then she put the phone down and waited until they reached the hotel. Hers was much fancier than the one that the hunters were staying in. "Thank you," she said as they arrived.

"Nope," Nuala said with a smile. "Just give me a few minutes," she said and ran off into the hotel. It would take her almost ten minutes to get to her room and find the right outfit. Flexible pants and appropriate shoes out if what she had. Blouse and jacket. Her hair went up in a braided bun and silver bracelets went on her wrists. Then she was back.

Nuala started laughing when she heard him say that. The wind brought his words to her. She climbed back into the car. "Oh Drake. You're so silly. Of course it's magic. And I'm going to teach it to your sister," she said with a grin.

Bobby waited for her to get in and then he started the car and drove off. "I don't think you noticed, but boys are always looking at her. I can name one off the top of my head right now."

"Oh I know which one too," Nuala said with a little laugh. She'd definitely seen it. Puppy love was so cute. They'd be adorable. Too bad Hikari moved around with her family so much. "And besides, she's a natural beauty. Or she will be when she grows into her features in a couple of years. So boys are going to look at her regardless of makeup, clothes and hair."
