"Yeah, well none of you have lost a parent you actually loved so I don't think you understand it the same way I do." Drake said then, but then he winced. "Sorry Hikari," he said and looked like he felt like the biggest douche bag.

"For what? Saying the truth? I have one memory of our mother, Drake. One. She's just this beautiful lady who sang me to sleep. I want to love her, I do. I want to know her like you did, but I just don't. That's not your fault. It's not mine." Hikari said, she had come a long, long way recently with accepting things.

"She has a point, you can't blame yourself for that either. Drake, as a hunter you feel like everything is your fault and it's not. Take that weight off your shoulders, it's not all for you." Glitch said with a shrug.
