Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Hex, father's aren't a tyrant always." Wolf laughed, he found that funny though. "I mean, if you trash your room and kick me in the nuts, I'm gonna get mad. But I don't think you'd be so naughty do you, Wisp? Hex...now she would."
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"No...I am not naughty like Hex is," Wisp said. She could do naughty things when it came to her lamp. But she wasn't as bad as Hex.
Hex just crossed her arms over her chest. "So I'm just supposed to let you bribe me with pretty promises just so you can command me around for the rest of my life?"
"He can do that without adopting you," Aya pointed out. "Just saying."

Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"I could and I don't," Wolf said and gave Aya a squeeze for helping him out. "You don't have to trust me yet, I know I have to earn it. But won't you give me a chance?
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
Hex thought on it, keeping her arms crossed defensively. She looked at the other three. None of them seemed opposed. She did not trust Wolf yet. But she did trust Bedlam and Pande. If neither of them thought this was rotten then maybe it was worth trying. They could escape if things went south. "Fine," she said.
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Really?" Wolf said as he stood up and went over to Hex to hug her. He couldn't help it. "Do you mean it?"
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Yes," Hex said and did not hug him back. She made a face at the contact. "Don 't get so emotional."
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"I can't help it. It means a lot to me, Hex. Even if it doesn't mean much to you, yet." Wolf said because it really did. She would get there. He squished her even more.
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Ah," Hex said and made more of a face. She hesitantly lifted up her arms and then put them around him too, patting his back awkwardly as if trying to pacify him so he'd stop squishing her.
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
Wolf started to laugh, but he appreciated it. "Thanks. Do you want to come and see where you'll live when not exploring?"
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Sure," Hex said, not at all enthused. She'd seen where hunters live. She knew what their 'homes", when they had them, were like. And they weren't all that impressive. She'd stayed in nicer apartments than what hunters often had.
Aya just laughed. "It's not what you're thinking," she said. "But it's not very close either..." Because it wasn't. Blackthorne Manor was Northeast of their location...on the other side of the kingdom.

Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Yeah, the manor is far. It will take a few days to travel there. So you get to get to know me while we do it." Wolf said, she was going to hate it and it was going to be great.
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
Hex groaned. Well, there went seeing Greenfield. On the plus side, when this fell through because he realized how hard it was to deal with "lost" children, she knew where the place was and could pick up like nothing had happened.
"Should be an interesting journey," Pande commented.
Bedlam thought about where they might be going. But there were a few places within Johto that were going to take days to get to. "Where in the kingdom are we going?" he asked. If he knew where they'd be traveling through, he could better assess the threats and risks involved.

Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Blackthorne city. Is there somewhere you'd like to go on the journey? I mean, I've ruined your trip. So we can do thst first? Besides, I have to get some things sorted." Wolf said, like their welcoming party. Their rooms, toys etc.
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Depends on which route you're planning on taking," Bedlam said. There were only two ways to go by land if they took the main roads. Neither of them were easy because of the mountains. They'd be going through caves.
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Well, if we can take a route that fits your needs we can do thst." Wolf said happily. He didn't mind at all.
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
'If we go to Goldenrod then we can visit Greenfield along the way," Bedlam said. "It's the longer route but Goldenrod is a big city with plenty of shopping so whatever you need could likely be picked up there."
"That sounds good," Pande said and looked at the girls.
"Yes, I want to see a big city," Wisp said. They usually avoided them because too many people just meant more chances for people to upset Hex and end up dead.
"Yeah, sounds good," Hex said.

Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Okay, that's fine with me." Wolf said and messaged the others. Jes replied it was fine. "My friends are in goldenrod right now, we can go there and you can meet Jes, Pande."
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Oh...I don't know," Pande said, still feeling awkward about earlier.
"It's fine," Aya said. "My Master is very excited to meet you." Yeah, she made that very suggestive.
"Oh joy," Bedlam said. He did not want to watch them flirt. Okay, no, it was pretty hot to watch. But not with little girls present.

Re: The Wolf and the Cat
Wolf laughed, "he's got poly tendencies if that helps you." But he was so excited now. He couldn't help. "Are you happy with this, Wisp?"
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Yeah," Wisp said. "I want to see the big city," she repeated. They didn't have money to buy anything but it would still be fun to look at all the pretty stuff. All the toys and dolls. Plushies and candies.
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"No, I mean coming with me." Wolf said, because that was important. So long as everyone else was okay with it, then he was happy. "All of you, your thoughts and feelings are warranted and they matter."
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Oh, yes," Wisp said. "I cannot help but be curious." That was part of her nature. And since Hex had given in she was fine with it. "It's okay?" she asked, looking at the boys for confirmation.
"Seems to be," Bedlam said. If it wasn't...well...He couldn't do much but Pande could.

Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"Good. I'm excited. Sorry." Wolf said and sent a text to Alex. He hoped he didn't mind but he didn't think he would.
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
"So this is an unexpected turn of events," Alex texted back. "I thought you didn't want kids? Well, at least they didn't try to kill you and you didn't kill them. I think this counts as a happy ending."
Re: The Wolf and the Cat
Wolf laughed and text back, I am full of surprises. Especially for myself. We are heading to you, you can meet them. He replied and then grinned at the group. "Are you going to walk as girls?" He asked.
